In the article, authors describe a hundred-year history of stoneware and its production, and also how the complicated technology changed over time. It refers to glazes and paints which decide about the look of the finished dishes.<br \/>\nThe authors mention the three most important ceramic centres in Boles\u0142awiec: Julius Paul\u2019s; Hugo Reinhold\u2019s and Carl Wener\u2019s; which were the precursors of the development and technological progress in the production of stoneware.
