Artistic Handicrafts of the Highest Quality.

Being a leader in the hand-decorated ceramics industry is a huge commitment for our Cooperative. It requires continuous improvement in production quality and technology. It also involves overcoming challenges and solving problems involving clay, a natural raw material sourced from the bowels of the earth from open-pit mineral mines near Bolesławiec.

Thanks to the determination of many generations of employees who have dedicated their professional lives to our plant, including Krystyna Anduła, our long-time Chief Technologist, and our current team of specialists, experienced professionals, and qualified employees, we pride ourselves on the highest quality of the functional and decorative ceramics we produce.

The entire production process, as well as research and technological development, is conducted under the supervision of Chief Technologist Wioletta Werstler, M.Sc. Eng., a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków – Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics, majoring in chemical technology, and Technologist Eng. Magdalena Pietruszka, a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics, majoring in ceramic technology, in collaboration with the AGH University of Science and Technology Research Group and the Institute of Glass and Ceramics in Warsaw.

The scope of work is very broad and encompasses numerous precise activities and laboratory tests. It requires continuous monitoring of work at every stage of the production cycle, as well as thorough verification of the correctness of the operations performed by production, technical, and quality control supervisors. Most important, however, is close and professional cooperation in the exchange of information and observations with Production Manager Grzegorz Gil and the entire production supervision.

Each day begins with the preparation of the ceramic mass in the Mass and Glaze Processing Department, precisely according to the recipe for the raw materials for the slip and plastic mass, developed by the Chief Technologist. After dewatering in the filter press, the plastic mass is sent to a vacuum press and then to the Moulding Department, while the slip goes to the Foundry Department – all for the production of a raw semi-finished product, which is then biscuit-fired in specialized ceramic kilns.

According to a technological recipe, the Cooperative’s laboratory prepares ceramic paints for the Painting Department, especially for demanding decorative designers seeking new colors to make ceramics attractive and in line with current color trends.

Raw materials, finished ceramic masses, ceramic paints, and liquid glazes are subject to daily laboratory testing by employees Grażyna Trawniczek, Anna Leśniowska, and Sylwia Drapiewska.

Our efforts are confirmed by the Cooperative’s latest certificate. The Polish Guarantee of the Highest Quality certificate was awarded by the European Chapter of Quality and Ecology on January 8, 2026, and is the best confirmation of the excellent quality of our ceramic products. We are pleased that our customers will be able to pride themselves on having products that meet their expectations in every respect.
