Jolanta Okraska is a designer of decorations for the Artistic Handicraft Cooperative “Ceramika Artystyczna” in Bolesławiec. The artist has been working for the Cooperative since 1983.
“I treat my work as a life passion. When I create decorations, I use the influence of the surrounding nature and its beauty. Therefore there are so many plant motifs in my designs. Nature that surrounds me and the phenomena that occur within it inspire me to work creatively. My Christmas and Easter decorations are inspired by the extraordinary atmosphere. All plant motifs are decorated by using square, zigzag and circles stamps, creating intricate compositions. To achieve the highest quality and efficiency, I am still developing in the field of ceramics.”
