The pottery products of Artistic Handicraft Cooperative “Ceramika Artystyczna” have been presented on an exhibition of Polish ceramics “Dall’Argilla di Boleslawiec” in Vietri sul Mare in Italy since last week. Vietri sul Mare is a town with population of 8 thousand people with long ceramic tradition, laid about 50 km from Neapol.
A vernissage of the exhibition took place on 7th December in Polo Museale del Palazzo della Guardia under the Association of Municipalities Ceramic of the Republic of Poland.
Our company was represented by Mr. Mariusz Ochocki, the Artistic Manager. The delegation from Poland has consisted: Piotr Roman – Mer of Boleslawiec, Krzysztof Hewak – President of the Association of Municipalities Ceramic of the Republic of Poland and Anna Bober-Tubaj – Director of the Ceramic Museum in Boleslawiec. A Head of Consular Division of Embassy of Republic of Poland in Rome, Mrs. Ewa Mamaj also has participated in the vernissage.
As Mariusz Ochocki has informed – the vernissage has been a great success, and Italians have been just very pleased being able to see it. Our designs, shapes, decorations painted by stamps were enjoyed a huge interest. Everything was new

and interesting for Italians. Increasing business contacts and planned attempt of interest of Italians was an aim of our trip, because this is a place where Boleslawiec’s pottery have not been known very well. This market is not easy, but can be very inspiring. Our company has presented about 200 shapes and designs. For Italian people pottery painted with a stamp method is a new domain of ceramic art.
According to Piotr Roman, the Mer of Boleslawiec – exhibition of Polish ceramics in Polo Museale del Palazzo della Guardia was supposed to show the diversity of Boleslawiec’s ceramic, produced in Boleslawiec and in the District of Boleslawiec. On the exhibition were represented 23 company. The confirmation of the exhibition’s success is a fact that exposure has a chance come into being also in Rome and in Nogent-sur-Marne, the Paris metropolice.
